With this stylish wooden herb planter, you can enjoy delicious fresh herbs all year round and give your dishes a flavourful boost. Perfect for both experienced gardeners and beginners.
Grow all your favourite kitchen herbs effortlessly, such as basil, mint, parsley, rosemary, thyme, oregano, chives, coriander and many more.
Rot resistant base panel
The herb planter is equipped with a 10 mm thick, rot resistant plastic base panel. This means the planter does not need to be fully filled with substrate and can be placed on any surface without issues.
You determine the ideal substrate depth yourself by sliding the base panel to the desired height inside the planter. Excess rainwater is efficiently drained.
Multiple mounting options
On soft surfaces such as garden soil, the herb planter is supplied with four ground spikes that are pressed into the ground.
On hard surfaces such as a terrace or balcony, these are replaced by stakes with exactly the same height as the planter.
Choose the super deluxe finish with feet and the planter stands completely free from the ground, keeping the wood optimally protected.

Long lifespan
Thanks to an innovative heat treatment, the wood of our herb planters lasts up to 20 years. This treatment improves dimensional stability and provides natural resistance to insects and rot. Over time, the wood develops a beautiful light grey patina due to weather exposure.
Play it safe
Avoid cheap, chemically impregnated herb planters made from less durable wood. Chemically treated wood, even water based, is simply not suitable for growing edible plants. Pure toxins that go against the idea of growing your own healthy and sustainable herbs and vegetables.
Growing herbs like a pro
Herbs need at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. Place them in a sunny spot in your garden, on your balcony or terrace.
Water herbs regularly, but make sure the soil feels dry between watering. Overwatering can cause root rot.
Trim herbs regularly to encourage growth and keep them compact and healthy. Harvest in the morning for the best flavour.
Substrate advice
Ideally fill the herb planter with a mix of one third compost, one third peat and one third vermiculite for optimal growth. The required amount of substrate depends on the height at which you place the base plate. The lower the plate, the more substrate is needed.
For healthy plant growth, a substrate depth of at least 25 cm is recommended. This is achieved by placing the base plate in the third layer from the top. Each beam layer is exactly 12.5 cm high.
Please note: the 25 cm high herb planter consists of only two beam layers and therefore has a maximum substrate depth of 18 cm.
