The classic wooden raised garden bed or planter, but with extra comfort and mobility. Quick to assemble, durable and elegant. Ideal for:
Still super quick to assemble
Like all our raised beds and planters, you can click and slide this one together in just a few minutes. Only a few bolts for the wheels to fasten, and you’re done!
Or choose to have your raised bed on wheels delivered pre-assembled.
Flexible, mobile and ergonomic
Want to move your bed to catch more sun or make space for guests? Need to clean or rearrange the terrace? Thanks to the sturdy wheels, you can easily roll your raised bed wherever you need it.
Choose your preferred working height. For sowing, planting and harvesting without bending, an ergonomic height of 75 cm or more is ideal.
You decide the substrate depth for your plants, depending on where you place the grooved beams and bottom panel. The bottom panel is made of strong, rot-free plastic. Excess rainwater is naturally drained.
Healthy and sustainable growing
Made of 4 cm thick thermally modified spruce (Thermowood): 100% natural, without chemical treatment, and with a lifespan of up to 20 years. Perfect for growing edible plants! Over time, the wood develops a soft grey natural patina.
Change your mind? No problem
The smart modular design lets you easily take everything apart and reuse it in another clever WITBOSCH setup.
Smarter sowing and planting
Add an elastic sowing & planting grid for a clear layout with handy compartments, based on the square foot gardening method.
Substrate advice
For best results, fill your bed with a mix of 1/3 compost (nutrients), 1/3 peat (structure), and 1/3 vermiculite (aeration and water retention). The required volume depends on the layer of beams in which you place the bottom panel: the lower, the more substrate is needed.
For healthy plant growth, we recommend a soil depth of 25 cm. That corresponds to placing the bottom panel in the third-to-last layer of beams. Each beam layer is exactly 12.5 cm high. Note! Beds of only 37.5 cm high with just 2 layers of beams have a maximum soil depth of 18.5 cm.
