The innovative E-shaped design of this raised bed combines optimal accessibility with a larger growing area compared to traditional rectangular raised beds. Perfect for cultivating vegetables, herbs, and flowers in ample quantities.
With a maximum bed width of 107 cm from the edges and indents 99 cm wide, you can easily access all areas of the raised garden bed – even with a wheelbarrow. This allows you to sow, plant, and harvest comfortably.
Flexible in Length and Height
Expand your E-shaped wooden raised bed to fit the available space in your garden. Increase the height by adding additional layers of beams in 12.5 cm increments. For most vegetables and herbs, a root depth of 25 cm is sufficient.
Taller raised beds reduce the need for bending while gardening, offering more comfort and less strain on your back. Perfect for an effortless and enjoyable gardening experience!
From a bed height of 50 cm, you can opt for a custom raised, rot-resistant bottom. This way, you don't have to fill your raised bed entirely with substrate. You choose the desired root depth yourself.
Ideal for saving weight on rooftops and balconies with limited load capacity. Less substrate, less hassle, just as much growing joy! Feel free to ask us about the possibilities.
If placing the raised bed on a hard surface where plants cannot root deeply, choose a minimum height of 25 cm with a custom-fitted drainage geotextile to keep the substrate in place while allowing excess rainwater to drain easily.
Maximize spaceUse an elastic sowing & planting grid to divide your E-shaped wooden raised bed into sowing and planting zones of 33 x 33 cm. This helps you maintain an overview and optimize available space.
Healthy growingAvoid cheap, chemically treated raised beds that contain harmful substances. Our E-shaped raised bed, made from naturally durable wood, offers a safe and sustainable solution, ideal for growing edible plants.
The wood of our raised beds is thermally treated with steam and heat. This process improves dimensional stability and increases natural resistance to rot and insects. The result? A lifespan of up to 20 years, without chemical additives.
Over time, your raised bed will develop an elegant light-gray patina. This natural aging gives your wooden raised bed a timeless appearance.

*On hard surfaces, the spikes are replaced by support stakes that match the height of the raised bed. Please specify this when ordering to ensure the correct support stakes are included.
Adding plant supports
Easily attach a trellis or an espalier trellis to the ground spikes that connect the modular beams. This provides perfect support for plants such as berries, clematis, honeysuckle, nasturtiums, sweet peas, pumpkins, melons, cucumbers, gherkins, beans, peas, tomatoes, and more.
Protecting your harvest
Use a fruit and vegetable cage to protect vegetables, herbs, and berries from cats, dogs, chickens, rabbits, and other animals. Add a top net to the cage frame to keep birds out of your raised bed.
Substrate advice
An E-shaped wooden raised bed of 519 x 210 x 25 cm requires approximately 2.000 liters of substrate. For optimal results, use:
This mix creates the ideal growing medium for vegetables and herbs! Consult our raised bed guide for volume recommendations for other raised bed dimensions.
Stability and reinforcement
For raised beds higher than 25 cm, the wooden beam joints may bulge slightly outward due to lateral pressure. Prevent this by placing aluminum connectors at the beam joints on the top layer.
These connectors are included with beds starting from 37.5 cm in height. For 12.5 or 25 cm high raised beds on hard surfaces, we recommend ordering sufficient beam connectors for optimal stability.
